Tina Prichard is the founder of the Chai Baba Tea House in downtown Kelowna. Previously, she established the Glory Be Tea Company, a unique line of 8 herbal tea blends based on aromatherapy and healing plant energy theory. Working in her business has allowed Tina to nuture her savvy for branding, social media and marketing. Tina's work and life experience is infused by her education, passion and keen eye for arts and design. Her passion for wellness has also led her to studies in yoga and she is currently teaching at Oranj Dance and Fitness, as well as Kelowna Hot Yoga.

In the early days of her career, she had worked in the fields of illustration and graphic design for the publishing industry, including Wood Lake Books.  She has done colour consulting, window dressing and stylizing for commercial and residential clients. Tina has also worked coordinating and developing arts education programs for the Kelowna Art Gallery, including its successful Family Sundays program. She likes to meditate, ride her bike, enjoy nature, and is the parent of her positively wild and angelic daughter Zoe.

Tina offers her artistic design and wellness-oriented marketing skills to the Avalon Alliance, helping create harmony and congruency between visual design elements in our projects, programs and social media communications.  Her experience in arts education and yoga is also an asset to our Whole Health and Arts and Culture branches.
